The models are experimental

The gauges, scores and probabilities come from experimental models applied to a small number of past episodes. They can be wrong, sometimes badly. Each gauge publishes its own backtest and misses, and those results show that the evidence for the models is weak. A probability is not a prediction that something will or won't happen, and past market behaviour may not repeat.

Accuracy of data

The data comes from third parties and is processed automatically. It may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and some figures are provisional until official closing prices are published. Errors are corrected when found and listed on each gauge. No guarantee is given that any figure is accurate, complete or current.

AI-written text

Some text on the gauges, the daily commentary and the weekly news reading, is written by an AI model and published without being edited by a person. Its figures are checked automatically against the data. Its judgements are the model's, not the editor's, and may be wrong.

Companies named on the site

Companies are named only because they are in a basket or are relevant to one. Inclusion is not a view on the company. The site is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any company it covers. Company names and trade marks belong to their owners.

Reusing the figures

You may quote and reuse the site's own analysis, scores and text, with credit to Bubble Pressure and a link to the page. Data that comes from third parties, such as share prices, remains subject to its providers' terms. The data files are offered as they are, for convenience.
